'TIS THE SEASON

Wow! Never thought I would make it this far after coming up with this idea in May 2020...

Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way! I am living the dream, and owe it to you all for supporting my crazy idea :)

That being said, we have some matters to address!!!

"What's In The Blog?"

  1. Fall/Winter Update

  2. 2025 Start Times (Brier)

  3. BNA Burger Challenge

  4. What's Up Andrew?

1 - Fall/Winter Update:

My fall stayed nice and busy, and I even got some folks who came out on tour in November/December and battled some winds, rain, and snow!

In early December we got to see the opening of Stuart Park Ice Rink for the community to enjoy. It stays open until late spring, is free to use, and often has skate rentals & food trucks available.

2 - 2025 Start Time & Brier:

I'll be starting a little earlier in 2025. My first tour availability will be February 25, 2025.

Why you ask?

Kelowna 2025 Brier Logo

The 2025 Montana's Brier will be held in Kelowna February 28th-March 9th at Prospera Place!

If you're in town, or know anyone going take some time to come on a tour with me! The city is expecting close to 10,000 people in town for the event, so it will be a great start to Spring!

3 - BNA Burger Challenge:

I told all my guests this year I'd do the BNA 10 Patty Burger Challenge! I did the 11 patty burger in 33 minutes. They give you 40 minutes to complete. If completed you get a free hour of bowling!

The record holder is Tony with 20 patties!

4 - What's Up Andrew?:

This year we were fortunate to not have any major mother nature incidents, but I learned to just keep being me and doing what I do. Being grateful for my guests, vendors, friends, and family while proudly showing off my favourite area in the entire world!

Speaking of that, there's a big world out there!

Once I get my bookkeeping done over the holidays I'm outta here!

First I'm off to see my Niece's wedding in Puerto Vallarta! Then a few days in Milan & Holland before taking off to see my family in Scotland! I hope to work on a highland cow farm again, get to Edinburgh, eats lots of haggis, drink some whiskey, and just enjoy my families time!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone!

I'll catch up with you in 2025 :)

Yours In Food Tours,

Andrew Deans
